Others from Parintins

The city is divided by an imaginary line that goes from the Cathedral of Nossa Senhora da Conceicao until the Bumbódromo, creating two zones: ”Vermelha” (Red)  and ”Azul” (Blue). The division can be seen looking at the colors of houses, tourist signposts and even public phones. The population of Parintins is 102 066 inhabitants (data from IBGE in 2010) and the distance to the capital Manaus is 315 kilometers.
